street night muffled only

I'm goin to e-town tonite and I just got my cutout installed I was wondering if any of you guys have ever been there before to tell me how they determine muffled or not. Is there a decibal test or something they put you thru? I really wanna run with the cutout open but if I can't i'll jus go on Wednesday.

they have a DB meter they use in tech, and i believe they will retech you in case you go through with the cutout closed, but the car seems too loud when racing.

90 db at 100 feet. I was at a closed session on Tuesday for GM High Tech Performance and one of the participants was booted for opening her cutout. The tech guys know what a cutout sounds like vs a muffler. You will get the boot if you open it. They don't cut any slack.

You could always take the trip to Atco - it's open to all cars tonight - although I think it's supposed to rain again...
