Question on my 1/4 times?

I am wondering with my setup what should I be running?
my mods consist of:
SLP peformance Options: 3 inch high flow 2OTL SLP Exaust, Bilstien level 2 suspension.
Granatelli MAF, 1le bellow, slp temp sensor, 58mm TB, ported LT1 intake matched to 58mm, Crane GS RR's 1.6, LT4 springs and retainers, Taylor 8mm plug wires, NGK TR55 plugs,
LT4 KM,160thermostat, custom fan control module, hooker LT's, mufflex Y-pipe Cats!, 3.42grs, polyurethane TA mount, 1le panhard bar, 1le driveshaft, SLP steel billet flywheel, Stage 3 Spec Star clutch (carbon), removed smog/EGR, hurst shifter w/white 6speed ball, Holley Power shot Filter. still using stock 3.42 gears. only weight reduction is the removal of the spare tire and jack.

the best time I could pull off on Nitto 275/40/17 DR's mounted on ZR1 17x9 silver rims was:

4/19/03
1/4 mi. 13.530@106.19 60':2.102
1/8 mi. same run 8.818@83.03

the weather was: Humidity 100%
Barometer: 35
temp: 78*

Does that sound about right considering my 60'? should I be running better, I just see people with less mods pulling better times with the same 60 foot times as me.

Thanks in advanced.

the 60' could be a lot better, which would drop the times.
If that was actually the weather condition s,how long after that run did it start raining? The air was horrible, which also kills power.

As far as the times, they arent too bad,but the maf and 58mm tbody on a mostly stock car kinda baffle me. Some guys have picked up with a stock maf over the 1 you have.

Weather sucked. BP 35???? That doesn't sound right.
Throttle body is way too big for a basically stock setup. I'm only running a 52... 60 foot times need a fair amount of work. My guess is your 60 foot times need to get down into the 1.8 range which will probably translate your ET into high 12's with decent weather.

Reason being for the 58mm TB is for future heads and cam combo, Its not hurting anything as far as performance due to the fact that the engine is only going to use as much air as it needs.

With the weather conditions I posted what is the DA translate to?

it baffles me becuase time and time again people have proven that the Granatelli maf usually hurts the cars. And the 58mm Tbody point has been argued left and right, with no clear outcome.

as tnt said, the 60's need major work, but that SLP level 2 suspension is anything but straight line friendly.

at the time my car wouldn't respond right away when I mashed the gas pedal(this was one of my first mods along with the GMAF & CG RR's), once I ported and matched the intake and installed the TB the car responded 10 times better.
As for hurting me performance wise I fail to see that. The engine is only going to consume the amount of air it needs, atleast that is how I have read into it according to all the posts over in the tech section I have read.

My club has a dyno day scheduled for July 26th. Me and another member are going to swap parts in and out to end the speculations on whether or not the 58mm hurts you performance wise with stock heads and cam, I am going to try his 52mm TB on my stock heads and cam setup, and he is going to try my 58mm on his Lloyd Elliot ported heads and 224/230 xtreme cam setup just to see if there are any gains or loss. Until I'm provin wrong I can't see how it can hurt me.
as for the MAF, I am going to swap out with a stock LT1 maf and see if that is hurting me as well.

I'll be sure to post the results over in the LT1 tech section.

I am also getting my car scanned by a fellow club member next week with Auto Tap to see what the heck the PCM is seeing, I am guessing my O2's are bad from the research I have been doing.

As for trap speeds, considering the weather, 106mph with my setup is pretty darn good I thought. I don't know what the DA is w/ the given weather conditions, but the stock LT1's that were running 13.8's -low 14's with 1.8-2.0 60's, trapping anywhere between 97-100mph. I don't think the 17's are hurting me, and I'm running Nitto Drag radials (555R) 275/40/17s...I think next time I'm gonna heat them up properly, that could aid in better traction.
