depends on how well you drive? eric (mustangeater) went 14.46 in a free modded 3.8. but that son of a bitch can flat out drive. an automatic would probablyt be a second slower stock

yea i seen that in hes sig box most be a realy good driver. But yea ive been told since the track i go to most is only a 1/8 mile since the 1/4 is like an hour drive away but on the 1/8 people say the have seen stock 3.8s run 9.8s though a 11 so I guess it has alot to do on the driver and how good they are.

depends on your car...

auto or 5-speed?

most auto 3.8L v6s have 3.08 gears, some had 3.42s, some had 3.42s, and LSD if they were Y87(performance package)

If you have a 5-speed it has 3.23s.

-Auto with 3.08s, probably low 16s, high 15s
-auto with 3.42s, mid 15s to high 15s
-auto with 3.42s, and LSD mid 15s to low 15s.
-5-speed with 3.23s, mid 15s, well driven low 15s(but doesn't mean a bad driver cannot screw it up, my old roomate ran 16.8s in his 99 5-speed car)

Don't knwo much about Y87 5-speed cars they are pretty rare... but low 15s seems right.

way to see what gears you have, check the RPO codes on the door or in the glove box.

GU4=3.08s
GU5=3.23s(only on 5-speeds, and on all 5-speeds)
GU6=3.42s

I think its G80, or G60 to see if you have Limited slip differential(LSD)

Y87 will be listed their if you have it as well...

hope that helps...

as for 1/8th miles times... not too sure... I ran a 9.299@75.37mph on my 14.46 run

I am assuming in the 9.8s-10.2 range... I ran a 9.816 on my 15.4 run in my 94 3.4L camaro, but I had gears/lsd, and the 3.4L was a low end motor, it didn't have much power in the 2nd half the track.
