Stalling a high stall converter

Should I do this.I usually stall a 2200 before I go.Should I just let the converter do it's job or stall it a litte myself for better launch.

Stall it as high as it can go before breaking traction on the power break...its gonna take a few passes to get it dialed in perfectly what rpm u wanna launch at

My converter stalls at 5700 on the transbrake. Depending on track conditions, I usually launch off the 2 step at 3000-3500 rpm and let the converter flash. That way it's a softer hit and I don't break traction as easily. If the track conditions are very good, I try to stall it right to 5700.

With my 2500 stall, I would rev it to about 1000 rpm, then when I saw the yellow lights I would nail it. If the track hooked I could do better flashing the converter like this then if I stall it up any higher. If the track is not hooking as good, I stall it up till about 1800-2000 rpm then ease on the gas.
