Spohn Torque Arm Q?

I have just installed an adjustable TA and I'm having a vibration through my butt that I need some advise on.

Here is the problem. Starting at about 100 kmh and gently increasing in intensity as the speed increases I get a rythmic thumping through my butt. The DS has been double checked for balancing. I also got the rear wheels balanced and that DID help, but the wheels are done right now. I was there when they did them.

I set the pinion angle to zero degrees.

So my question is, does the fact that the TA bolt just where the seats are cause increased vibration that otherwise I did not notice before?

The Spohn torque arm couples your drive train to the frame so more vibration and noise will be transferred into the interior. Any time you eliminate a rubber bushing your adding noise and vibration. You say you had your stock drivesahft balance checked...I believe the stock piece just resonates at around 70 mph; swap in an aluminum driveshaft (hopefully you can borrow one from a buddy) and see if the vibration is reduced.

Mines the same way. It's set at -1 degree. On the highway I found that the little vibration I have levels out at 72 MPH. I think it's one of those things I'm just going to have to live with.
Is it me our does your car seem to stop with a little less nose dive and corner better too?

If you have the spherical rod ends, you can expect a LOT of vibration. The poly bushings will also transmit some additional vibration.

Thanks guys.

I have the poly bushing. Also, the DS is a custom made 3 inch steel. oI sold the LS1DS. That would break when the stickies go on

I think I'll adjust it to -1 degree and see if that helps.

Z-rated: I'mafraid i did not notice any differance.
