Cool SPRING BREAK SHOOTOUT! - March 9th - TX

How many of you are planning on attending the shootout? Will you be spectating, racing, or entering the car show? Should be a HUGE turnout, and some very fast LS1/LT1s in attendance.

Lets see a good show of LT1s, LT4s, LS1s, LS6s!

Oh yeah, and we are planning a big party on the Saturday night before the event, including the Bacardi and Miller Lite ladies. Should be fun

Question

LS1tech.com has three different events this year, CZ28.com has three different events (including the M event). SLP has their customer appreciation days at various locations and there seems to be countless other F-body specific events going on. How many different events do you expect folks to be able to attend and how should they prioritize them?

Location would be the primary way to prioritize the events. Texas is FULL of f-bodies. I attend as many events as possible, especially if they are local.

I don't think these events are meant to be "board specific". I think that these events are to form a bassis of f-body racing. If these events(all of them) show good support I suspect that they will all come together to try and form some kind of "series". I hope that is the result of all of this.

Tony, I can't make this one. I made a deal with the wife about building a house and trips...so I can't break that deal if I expect here to live with it. I will be there next year though.

If these events were f-body specific they would actually include fbodys. Seems that the first and second gens are always left out...

I would love to run at the Spring Shootout but with a carbed motor I am left out.

Exclamation

Actually, we are not ruling out carb'ed cars. As long as your engine is LT1/LT4/LS1/LS6 based, you may run carbs, overhead cam heads, etc.. in the Top Gun and all the index classes. The only class not allowing carbs is Extreme Street.
