3600 pounds for fully optioned car with a full tank of fuel? Add in a driver and that becomes a very heavy car. Some aftermarket heavy stereo components and it's starting to weigh the same as a small truck.

I'm starting to like my race car with a 3060 pound race weight. I'd still like to remove 200 more pounds if I could.

That's without the transmissions so of course a motor with a flexplate is lighter than a motor with a stick flywheel. And with that weight difference I would bet clutch and pressure plate.
