Removed Front sway bar

and I didn't gain a damn thing!! The weather was the best for running at the track so far this year. I was running consistent 12.45 all day long. Tire pressure was exactly the same. I did change the oil(mobil1) about a week ago. Is it possible to get too much suspension travel by removing the sway bar to hurt my times? I'm thinking about swapping my rear pro-kit springs for some V6 springs.

If your 60' times are high 1.6's and low 1.7's, and you are not having traction problems, I would not expect much, if any gain, from removing the sway bar under normal conditions. The weight may be transfered more efficiently, and in conditions where you might encounter tire spin your car may be more apt to stay hooked up, but the minimal weight savings of sway bar removal by itself probably would not offer any improvement.

I'm running consistent 1.6's. What about switching to a HAL/Qa1 set-up? Will I gain anything from that, or would it be a waste of my $$?? I would like to hit an 11, without doing another thing to the car.

If your already getting consistent 1.6 60's, I'm guessing your not getting a whole lot of wheelspin. So I would imagine doing the Hal/QA1 thing wouldn't help at all if your already hooking. JMO. BTW, I know of a nice GP for the Hal setup if your interested

I really want to pull 1.5's, but I guess I will need more motor to do that? Maybe I'm just being greedy
