Question about light weight battery..

I have a hawker battery coming in tommorrow and I am looking for suggestions on how to mount it. I know that fabricating of some kind is required since it is a top post battery and it is smaller so how did you guys do it?

Also if anybody has pics it would help.

Thanks

Lightbulb No Pix Sorry, But...

just fab up a reversed 'Z' like bar, although the middle of the 'Z' should be straight. You'll need to measure battery height and width. You can attach the lower part of the 'Z' to the factory mount (simple).
Then bring the rest of your 'Z' up and over the battery. Attach the top part of the 'Z' to a place on the front area. I did this with just a sheet metal screw. You'll see what I mean when you get going.

I run an 18 pound Oddessy drycell.
