A buddy of mine has a 95 TA. It is an auto, but he has a M6 tranny and clutch and the rest of the junk to convert it to a standard left over from a past project. My question is how to get into the 11s off the juice. Is it possible? He and I can do the labor part, and the parts will be bought used. The car is pretty much stock except for the borla, CAI and a NX wet kit. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have him stay with the auto, and put a stall in it. all the bolt-on, 3.73's in the rear and a cam forsure(CC306 or somthing of your choosing). A set a slicks and skinnies a great 60' and your there, on stock heads. You'll need to do some weight reduction, but's it's doable. you could do some mild port work on the heads, just do a search. There is plenty of info out there to get the job done.
