Car was blowing smoke and was way down on power ... only ran a 12.6 last time out in great weather, trailing smoke behind me all the way down the track.

Pulled the long tubes off with the help of friend and installed his stock exhaust system and took it into the dealer. When the plugs were out we noticed number 5 was completely fouled, more or less comfirming our suspecions that I had problems with rings.

Dealer confirmed, no compression at all in number 5 cylinder and is going to replace the rings under warranty as well as anything else that may have been damaged.

So I asked the service manager, while you have the engine apart, could you install a Hot Cam, which I already have in my possesion? And how much. SM ... sure 3 hours labor at $65, plus gaskets.

OK, so I asked what would be the cost to install a set of GMPP CNC ported LS6 heads? SM ... the heads will be off anyway, you supply the heads, no labor or gasket charges.

So the heads are on order and will be here in about a week and half.

So, no stock internal 11s ... but the 11s are coming
