Pinks 68 Firebird

Just curious if anyone knows whatever happened to the Blue 68 Bird that ran on Pinks. Saw the rerun the other day and struck my curiosity

If it was the one with the two brothers, I believe it was to be sold on e-bay. But a reserve was set and it was very high. In my area (OKC), there are four cars here that have been won/lost on Pinks. Two of those cars are at the local track from time to time (Wooly Mammoth & Gold S-10 w/ 40 Ford styling kit).

Bill Bonadio (from OKC) was recently able to buy-back his Gold S-10 from the BullyDog people. Bill is a really nice guy and big friends of the people who produce Pinks (Rich Christenson and Gavin Jerome).

PS: I outran Bill in his S-10 at the track a few weeks ago (my 11.48 engine only to his 12.54 and his nitrous didn’t work), however, it wasn’t for Pink Slips.

Yes he still has the car. The reserve was never met.
Lots of shady bids went down though from what I hear.

Not sure what the point of the show is if the cars don't get handed over. He and his brother were both racing at the LS1tech N vs. S shootout long after the show. It runs damn good for a small cube stick car.

The cars are won and lost on Pinks, the two brothers was a somewhat unique situation. But still a good show with two fast and close cars.
