NHRA Rules for Sunroofs

Can someone tell me what the NHRA rules are on Sunroofs. My sisters boy friend wants to run his second gen with and aftermarket sunroof. Only problem is that the blew out and was destroyed when it hit the ground. He is in the process of finding a replacment but I dont think he can do it by tomorrow. Its a 13 second car. Is he going to have problems teching it on a Test and Tune night?

If they strictly follow the rules I think you would need a cage and a harness to run with an open sunroof. It would count as an "open" car, I think. Why not call the track where you want to run?

Section 1A:7 Body

Full-bodied vehicles: Must have full top and windshield.

What this means is that sunroofs must be closed and T-tops must be in place no matter what speed you run. I've never had a problem with my T-tops but there are days where I'd love to take them out but I'm not allowed.
