new best mph

Got to make a few passes last night. I've been chasing ignition demons for months Two bad optis in a row

The car is still untuned and the stall ended up being WAY to tight. It wouldn't even flash above 24 or 2500 off of the line and dragged me down at each shift. With a cam this size, I need a 3800 or so The DA was between 2500 to 3000ft. Race weight was almost about 3550 and I was on hoosier QTPs 26x 11.5s. The tires were really overkill for this tight azz converter. I'm sure it would have been over 120 mph with my nittos

1.648 60ft
7.32 1/8 ( 95.08 MPH)
11.50 (118.48 MPH)

The car looked like a dog leaving the line. My last 60fts were in the 1.51 range with my old converter. I will be swapping to a much looser converter next weekend and spend a day tuning it with a wideband. Easy 10s, no doubt. Big thanks to Joe for all of the help with the cam, heads, gen7, tuning, suspension, ect..... Great guy to deal with . Guys, this car is really gonna fly

James 4500 stall waitin on ya at the shop I figured that stall would be a lil tight, it was tight in my own car when I ran it and ofcourse I dont have stock cubes .So it was super tight in yours...james that converter had no flash at all on the data log.. LOL 2500 you posted was lil off try 1500 and linear pull from there, in rpm..between that, bad air, taller tire, and 3.73 gear it didnt do to bad. Your fun is just beginning..

Very nice James! Kickass man. Like I said on TWR, that shiznit is smokin!

Whats up w\ all the views and no replies. You`d think an LT1 running these kinda times would elicit some response.

Re: new best mph

Way to go ,James !! That mph is pretty stout with such a tight stall. Once that 4500 goes in, I know it's going to leave like a bat out of hell !!. I hope to get out there one day real soon, myself . My work schedule is so crazy, man. Anyway ,Congrats again
