New 1/8th mile 385 pass
New 1/8th mile 385 pass
ok, I havent been to the track in over 3 years since my 305 so I was a little rusty..and I just wanted to get an idea of what the car has in it.
I still dont have a good tune, Im on the bin from LSRacing cause im running rich down low and have no idea what its doing up top..and I dont have any clue as the the HP/TQ
FUll street trim Iroc 245/50/16 on the fronts at 33lbs and irocs 255/50/16 BFG's on the rear set at 18 psi.
I only made 2 passes my first pass I set the rear tires at 18 hot and backed into the water and just spun a little and came out and did what I thought was a good heating...go to the line and stall it up to I have no idea cause I wasnt paying attention and light turned green and I spun ALL the way past the half 1/8th...LOL....I was like damn!..and ran a 2.293 60" and a 10.60 at 74.5...LOL
ok so the next pass I droped the tires to 16 on the back and didnt back into the water and just did another good tire heating...smoke!!
got up to the light and stalled again still not paying attention to where it was at but it almost pushed thru the lights...GREEN! I nailed it not really all the way to the floor cause I figured it would just light em up again!
and this is what it ran..
reaction .364
I1......1.738
I2......5.007
E.T....7.741
MPH...92.455
I started in 2nd and let the trans shift and then shifted to 3rd at about 5800
now if I can get the 60's down and maybe shift a tad higher...whatcha think it will run? if I can get down in the 1.5-1.6 range? how much does that take off on the big end?
anyway to figure out what my HP/TQ could be? CAR WEIGHS 3411 with me in it and a 1/4 tank of gas.
I have vids but I need to get them from the guy.

nah..that was without the 100shot. ...I wanna get my 60's down in the 1.5ish range so I can get around 11.4ish.
SO with the help of the happy gas I should be well in the 10's
I was doing 1.7 sixties with my 305 and a 3000 stall...I dont see why I cant get way lower with WAY more power

Spinning the tires or
Wrong torque converter and maybe you don't want to optimize the converter for NA if you plan on spraying off the line often.

I'd say it's tuned ok if that was with no 100 shot. Nice!
