need some setup advice please
So far the car is doing pretty good but I feel I am missing something. I raced yesterday in Douglas Wyoming and ran 13.7's but no matter what I do my 60's won't go below 2.0. When I drop the air pressure to 15 or below my ET goes up to 13.8/9. I ran the 13.7 on 18psi. It feels like it bogs when I launch with a lower tire pressure. I sure would like some advice on anything I can do (besides gears) to make this thing come out of the hole harder. Here is the setup:
lt1 w/ full bolt ons, hotcam kit, long tubes, etc etc
built 4l60e w/ 2800 stall 12" yank converter
323 gears
26" et streets
spohn lca's
bilstein shocks
v6 rear springs
3500lb car weight with me in it
Thanks guys!

I agree
I agree.
3.73 gears and you will love the way the car responds.
I would do that first.
Then as AL SS590 M6 said do the converter...send it back to Mike and make it a 3500. It will take you a day and a half to adjust to it but then it will seem normal.
Pump you font tires up to 45 psi for less rolling resistance.
Remove the front sway bar for the drag strip, this will give you a better weight transfer.
If you really want to see the et go down, take a day and remove as much weight off the car as possible, seats, floor mats, etc and then see what it does, but make sure the baro and temps are about the same as the previous runs.
