I just swapped from 3.42's to 4.10's. Nice SOTP gain, what did you guys actually see?

Haven't swapped myself, however have talked to someone who has them .. He has a tough time getting traction at the track on street nights and he's running out of 4th gear by the end of the 1/4 .. he told me he's actually considering going to 3.73's.

Although I know if you can hookup, you can see really nice gains.

.2 in the 1/4 mile and about 1.5 MPH gain in trap speed.

I'm on street tires, and a 1.9 60' time is as low as I can get them. Traction is hard to find with the 4.11 on street tires. But, trapping at 108.xx, I'm still in 4th gear, hitting 6K as I trip the light.

never had that problem with 17" wheels and tires with the stock cam!

I think your the first person I've seen here say that! I feel the same way. After installing the Moser w/4.11's traction loss was much easier to control and it makes sence. True steeper gears increase torque which will make the tire easier to spin but it also reduces wheel speed @ a given RPM which = less momentum. If the tire loses traction it will take less time to get it under control.
