LS1's are tempermental??
Well, I went to the track this last Tuesday and the best run I could manage is a 14.081 @ 100.82 mph on a 2.085 60' , that's almost a full second and 6 mph slower than last time I went to the track. There is nothing wrong with my car, everythings running good, so the only real difference between this run and the last time is weather. It wasn't the best conditions, and I know weather affects times, but almost a second?? I never thought I would have a hard time breaking 13's after running a 13.1 last year, and I could have broken 13's if I ran again, because i know i could get my 60' in the 1.9's, but still, I was quit shocked.

Either the timing equipment is off, or there is something wrong with your car. That's a huge loss. Maybe a ton of knock, or you were racing into a 100mph head wind.

Several days before I went I changed my oil/filter, tranny fluid/filter, and air filter. After all this was done i had a short race with a friend and his 2000 Z28 that runs virtually identical times and we were even, so i doubt that anything is wrong with my car.
There was about a 5 - 10 mph cross wind, very humid with low barometric pressure that day. I talked with some a couple other people with LS1's one was bone stock running 14.3's , not sure what gears, and another manual running high 13's low 14's with just exhaust as a mod.
Normally I'd chalk it up to off sensors as it's the first week, and they changed to the .000 reaction instead of the .500, but my speedo read about 100 every at the end every time.

The first year I had my car (late summer, 2002) I ran twice at the track, and I couldn't pull better than 14.008 @ 101 mph. My worst run was about 14.1 or 14.2 @ 99 mph (all with 60' times of ~2.2). Then last year, I started running mid-13's right off the bat. I don't think anything changed with the car at all, but the weather conditions were quite different. Both times I ran in the 14's, it was hot and humid. When I went to the track last year, it was warm, but not nearly as humid, and I could run consistant 13.5's - 13.6's, @ 104 - 105 .
