Lighter wieght

what needs to be taken out to make it lighter? Will it still be a comfortable daily driver? Will it still be safe? Thanks for answering my questions. I am trying to find out more about my car.

Comfortable daily driver is up to you. Do you need a stereo, heater, AC, wipers etc?

Safe? The front and rear bumpers can be removed but that makes getting into an accident dangerous. There's a heavy crash bar inside the doors that can be cut out.

The seats are very heavy. Replace them with race buckets. You can keep the carpet to have a factory look but take out the underlay.

If you want the comforts of a daily driver, there's not a lot you can remove to reduce weight. You "might" be able to shave off 100 pounds.
