Light Weight Seats

I'm wanting to get a pair of new seats, but want them to weigh as little as possible, yet be compforable and have some what durable cloth wrapped around them. What are you guys using?

I have no problem with my Kirkeys... My wife however absolutely hates them. Of course she doesn't like the 5-point either, the loud noise, or the firebottle, or the wires running around the inside of the car, or climbing in and out over the roll bar.

Yeah I'm not even looking forward to climbing into the car w/ a 10 point cage in a One car garage. And the wife forget it lol. Though she is going to pay the extra $$ for Lumbar support

have any pics of your seats you can send me. I'm thinking of going w/ the Corbeau Fronzo Seats. But am trying to see if they are NHRA legal for 8s.

The Forza or (forza 2,if you have a 36" waistand down get the forza) are legal, but you will NOT be able to use the Corbeau sliders,as they are only single locking, and NHRA requires double locking.
And you will also have to find a way to attach them to the rollbar.

How hard is it to attach the Forza's to the roll bar? I'm right at a 36" waist. i'd get the Forza 2s because I'm tall but they don't seem to be much difference height wise.

i would go with the kirkeys. i just installed my 18" kierkey drag seat and it weighs 12 pounds, not even 1 pound for the seat cover. i love the feel of the kirkeys. i thought they were gonna be so uncomfortablebut the are way comfy. and they are way cheaper.

The Forza 2's are about 16lbs,the seat brackets are about 3-4 more.
I believe Corbeau has a bracket to attach the seat to the bar.

Right now i have the Jaz/Summit plastic buckets, they are nice, but suck for long drives, also about 9lbs

But then UPS f*ed something up with the shipping, damaged the box and now the seats are sitting back at my house and Im out some cash...
