LCA relocation brackets on un-lowered car?
LCA relocation brackets on un-lowered car?
Will weld-in LCA relocation brackets help my launch if my car has a stock ride height? Or are they more for the guys with lowered cars? Also, If I decide to go with relocation brackets, would I be ok with non-adjustable BMR LCAs (since I can adjust the LCA using the different holes in the bracket)?
My experience says they are great for stock ride height cars. I think mine actually sits close to 1/2" above stock with the Drag Launch springs. Dropping the LCA's down to the lowest hole elminated all wheel hop.
And "adjustable LCA's" are sort of irrelevant... you don't need them. They are really only useful for moving the tires forward and backward in the wheels openings, or for correcting thrust angle problems. The relocation brackets have the holes arranged in an arc, so that raising or lowering them does not alter the axle position in the wheel housing.

I also am useing relocation brackets on a non lowered car. Because of the 9in rear and the taller tire, my LCA were lower in the front than in the rear. The brackets fixed all that and helped with the hook.
