launching technique using 2step, and line lock...

i've recently added a 2 step limiter to my car and i wanna try something new next time i goto the track

my setup briefly is, M6 4.10s, 28" slicks, hals, stret twin, nitrous

heres what ive thought of

burnout and stage before the other guy
hold brakes, hold line lock and 2 step (same switch)
hold the pedal down and just slightly (very slightly) bring the clutch up to load drivetrain
on the first amber (pro tree) drop the button and clutch at the same time.

now coupla questions: how fast does the hurst line lock react ?!
would i red light if i dump the button and the clutch on 1st amber ?

would loading the drivetrain in the way i explained help take away from the shock and net me a better 60' ?

any other suggestions are welcomed

im trying to get a similar setup together right now.
if you wanted, you could arrange another switch (adjustable) on your clutch pedal to control the 2 step. when the clutch is let out all the way, it controls your 2 step also.
you could also run your line lock off of that switch, but i think i would rather have a button to hold with my thumb. i would let off on the linelock as the tree is coming down just to make sure it was disengaged by the time you dump the clutch.

my question is about spraying nitrous out of the hole when the car is just coming off of the 2 step. (just finished bouncing off the rev limiter)
i may be launching as low as 3200 rpms with my auto car and im a bit worried about having a nitrous backfire

well u see . if ur nitrous is activated, and u put the gas down it will spray while ur bouncing off the 2 step limiter .. thats BAD .. im gonna wire in a 5 prong relay after my nitrous switch and wire up the signal to my linelock / 2 step button such that the relay shuts off when u activate the 2 step
