It's not stock. it's a 98 T/A
3500 stall, shift kit, 373's, ram air hood/filter, LS6 intake, headers, no cat, 3" flowmaster exhaust, hypertech programmer,
BBK 80mm throttle body, upgraded MAS, TB by pass, pully's, and powersteering by passed.
what can I expect out of it at the track for 4200 ft. It previously ran a 15.1@93mph with like intake, exhaust, headers, in lubbock tx, I was dissapointed to run a 14.5@98mph by g-tech.
Is that normal for a LS1, or is the g-tech wrong? I know elevation comes into play, but does 4200 ft. make it that slow?

4200ft is a killer altitude to run at. And if the weather was not that well the Density Altitude could make it "seem" like higher elevation.
By one calculator online, that may be correct or not, your weather and run could have went something like this.
Lets say the Temp was 85 degrees, Humidity was 70, Altitude was 4200ft, Pressure was 30.15, and your run was 15.1@93mph(uncorrected). Your corrected run for that weather/altitude would be 13.62@102.12mph.<-- This is just a hypothetical guess at the weather when your car run 15.1.
My guess is that mid 13s is the slower numbers your car is capable of. With all that work and good weather/elevation I feel you have a mid 12 second car.

So you think maybe mid 13's? Thanks, I appreciate it. I hear such killer stories about the ram air ls1, I had to get one. I had a 99 C5, but never ran it at the track. I have been used to dealing with my VR4, but look foward to modding the hell out of another car! I have timeslips for my VR4 for a 12.2@114 on the stock turbo's/stock fuel system/stock clutch/fkywheel with a 75 shot.(back when it had that stock stuff
)
How much nitrous can I throw on the T/A "safely"?

I think your car can run mid 12s, altitude corrected, on good runs.
Also I hear of people running a 150 shot on the ls1s, now I do not own one, but I would probably stay with a 100-125hp shot of gas. The only reason I say that is the car has hyperuetic(sp?) pistons. The car would probably do fine with a few 150hp shot runs though.
