I have a 1996 z28 Camaro its pretty fast as it is has no governor on it but I want to make it really fast any suggestions? Also is it better to keep the Camaro stock or aftermarket? This is my first car so I really want to fix it up and make it look and run even better.

 

How fast... and how much have you got to spend? Can you do any of the work yourself = more for your money? What modifications have been made already? 6-speed manual trans or 4-speed automatic? If the automatic, what rear gears - look at the service parts tag in the glove box for GU2 (=2.73:1 gears) or GU5 (=3.23:1)?
