How much to install LCA relocation brackets?
How much to install LCA relocation brackets?
I just got a quote from the local speed shop of $120. I have to bring my own in, that's just for the weld-on installation. Does that sound right? If it's expensive, who else can do them? Are they too complicated for a muffler shop to do?
Thanks for your input.

Hey Jeromy,
They are not that difficult to install, especially if you have a lift. I got the bolt-in ones, but I would think your buddies on the base should be able to weld them in. (?)
A muffler shop should be able to do them if their welder has the appropriate size wire (you're going to need a heavier weld than what holds your exhaust pipe together). Try the muffler shop on Garners Ferry Rd. right next to Rush's - right out front of the Leesburg Post Office. Can't remember the exact name of it. The managers name is Stewart. He's got a 3rd gen Camaro and is a pretty good guy. (Just don't ask him to remove your cat
). If he's interested he'll probably want to do it on a slow day to fill up time, which will count out Saturday's.
Good luck!
