How do these slips look????

I went to the track today to make a few passes in the cold weather....mods are in sig plus i lightened the car up a little just because it was the last trip for the year.(just took seats out really).

Previous best with same set up (except about 80 pounds heavier) was 12.33 at 107.5 with a 1.70 60 foot

BTW: the car was on 17 inch drag radials

WORST OF DAY

RT = .773
60' = 1.797
330' = 5.097
1/8 ET = 7.872
1/8 MPH = 88.26
1000' = 10.248
1/4 ET = 12.318
1/4 MPH = 110.60

BEST OF DAY

RT = .988 (lol)
60' = 1.669
330' = 4.926
1/8 ET = 7.683
1/8 MPH = 88.87
1000' = 10.046
1/4 ET = 12.110
1/4 MPH = 110.54

how do these look for my mods??? what do u all think???

12.110 @ 110.54?...................looks good to me!!

Your substantial mods are headers, stall and gears, as well as slicks (obviously necessary) and some suspension upgrades, so IMO, you're running very well for those mods. At this point you could probably do a cam and get into the 11's. Way to go!

thanx man...just a note...i wasn't on slicks i said drag radials up there. i tried launching at 2500 RPM once and spun so more traction would have helped a lot. low 1.6 and maybe a 12.0.

thanx for the input.... anybody else want to comment....most seem to say this is pretty quick for a bolt on car...what do u all think?

Those are excellent times for a bolt-on car. I'd be happier than a pig in sh*t. The only thing I noticed is your trap speed seems a little low. If your that close to the 11's I'd suggest you get some 3:73s or a nice cam and rr's. Good luck.

hellion---cam is on the list but im thinking about doing the LS6 intake first....if that enough for 11s i can say i did it with all bolt ons.....(i consider the ls6 manifold a bolt on)

I also agree the intake is a bolt-on. I'd say you have a good shot to break into the 11's w/ that intake.
