Considering that's also on a 9" slick..

Lots of torque and very good weight transfer will do it. Lots of VHT and track prep help too. The car should weigh 50/50. Equal weight on the front and rear wheels. F-bodies are very nose heavy.

You might want to go talk to a Stock Eliminator racer and start by asking how they run so quick with so many limitations.

The vehicle can't be below the shipping weight but if they can remove as much weight as they can off the front, they can position is where they need it like at the rear.

Maximum tire size is 30 x 9 for Stockers. Many run 5.13 gears and a converter that stalls around 4500 rpm.

The car could run faster. NHRA allows wheelie bars in Stock Eliminator. Although weight transfer helps traction, you don't want all the energy to force the car up but forward.

Skip,
Did you get my mail?

That car generally runs in F/SA. Figure that he has a 5.14 rear gear with a 2.75 first. If you look in the back of most of the F Stock F-bodies you will find a bunch of weight (about 325lbs). Add one healthy LT-1 and that is what happens!!
