HOLESHOT techniques.,I need help

I have hp tires and a m6 basicly stock. I have trouble getting good take offs (on the street) without rosting em. How many Rs should i be comeing out at what should I work on

This is the drag racing forum, not the street racing advice column. I suggest going to your local track and watching what the real racers do and then applying that knowledge to your own situation.

Best way is trial and error. You'll learn what works best and what doesn't. You'll learn your cars "feel" better and will notice that different things work better in different situations. IMO anyways.

I was pulling between 2.2 and 2.4 60 foots. I put a set on and I pulled a 1.7 then a 1.575 and then broke my rearend. But I hooked.
