16-inch tires with 245/45 drag radials

If anyone is running the combo; what RPM are you at when you hit the traps?
What kind of gains did you see when you went to the 4.10s. I tried doing a search, but couldn’t find this specific answer.

How much hp are you making? How high do you want to rev it?

A 16" radial is ~26" tall and won't grow much at speed. For that tire with 4.10's, 5,800rpm is ~109mph, 6,000 is ~113mph.

This is on a stock motor, stock manifolds with cats. I was just concerned about hitting the limiter in 4th before hitting the traps.

 

I don't see many stock LT1's, but unless they run faster than ~109mph you won't have a problem.
