Making ET Streets LESS sticky

OK, I have a chance top get some et streets (26x10.5x16) for a good price and really need to improve my 60' times as my kumhos 712's that where OK when new (2.0) have gone to 2.3 , and
with my m6 I fear running a real sticky tire, can I run et's at say 28-30 pounds and get a 1.8 1.9 vs running 18pounds and a 1.6?

No power adders, N/A.

I would consider 20 pounds plenty firm. Try it and then adjust as necessary.

As long as you avoid clutchdumps you might be ok. Getting traction with a M6 car using a stock rear is blackmagic. I'd watch hard shifts as well. I took my stock rear out with Nittos and a Street Twin - go figure.
