get some relocation brackets, LCA's, sub frame connectors, tunnel mount torque arm, adjustable shocks, and last but not least start saving for A REAREND

slip the clutch between 2-4k if you dont want to break anything. If you have the guts and a trailer dump it from 4-5k. Do a search you will find tons of launching techniques.

when i launch it around 3500 it bangs into gear but it allmost stalls out. i just slip my foot side ways off the pedal so the clutch dose the work thats when it happens . any thoughts on that?

4000 Launch

I hook well with drag radials in the 3500 range. I launched hard at 4000, stuck well, and shredded my posi.

Start saving for a rear now, you are gonna need it.

The best advice anyone on here can give you is practice practice practice. The only thing that will make you better is trying differn't things. Try something differnt every time till you get it right.

To me a "good hard 6 speed drag launch" would be dumping the clutch at whatever RPM you make peek HP, that's what I do, 6500+ rpm .

Mine is only a 5 speed, but I use all 5 gears at the track. 1st gear is important, mine is 3.11:1 with a rear gear of 4.11:1. Or a total 1st gear of (3.11 X 4.11=) 12.78:1 . Some say that even lower 1st gear is better 14, to 16:1.

Biggest thing is the clutch will need to slip at launch and after each shift.

I'm still working on my clutch tune, only a 1.32 60 foot so far.
Here is a 60' test vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3UZW6smFtw

I should be in the high 1.2x 60 foots.

first and formost ...get a good rear end, then a full suspension, good shocks, good torque arm, and a drag sway bar. Get some slicks and a 2 step and you can launch the hell out of it. You will find any weak links in the drivetrain of your car, like imput shafts, outputshafts, clutches, driveshafts etc. But..you will be able to leave hard. My best 60' so far is 1.42...its a blast, I highly recommend it.
