Ford SHO's???? What do they run?

Me and my buddy are going to go to the track and race each other. I have a 97 Z28 M6 all intake mods and catback. He has a 91-92 SHO spd and sprays a 100hp shot of N20. He wants to race for $500 what do these run? thanks, oh also prev. owner of my car ran a 13.75 w/a 2.4 60ft which i hope i could do better than that.

A SHO will run a high to mid 14 stock, at around 93 or 94 mph. A 100 shot should put that at high 13s at 101-103 mph (FWD traction will be a limitation). He will probably light 'em up and rip a 2.6 60ft on his way to a loss.

Depends when he sprays it though. If he sprays right at 3 grand, he'll go up in smoke. If he sprays higher, or in second gear, then it shouldn't be a problem.

I'd say its a mid 13 second car, I'd stay away.

Betting $500 on a race with a friend is a sure-fire way to end the friendship.

When I was having my Z dynoed about a year ago there were two nitroused sho's. they both put down about 250 to the wheels. i'm pretty sure it was a 75 shot. if that's all it has is the 100 shot then i wouldn't worry to much. This is coming from the previous owner of a head and cam'd sho

Sounds like you havent run your car yourself, so you dont know for sure what it will run with you driving.

Heres what to do... get a 100 shot of your own then you should beat him for sure. Then take the $500 that you win from him and pay for your N2O....
