I went the other way. Mine started as an M6. After seven clutch installations an automatic was a no brainer for me. A M6 is definitely more fun on the street though.

Have fun. Don't get too hung up on the ET of the day. You wouldn't believe the number of times my car runs 2 tenths higher or 2 tenths lower for a day with no apparent reason.

yeah...while somewhat frustrating, I'm not too worried about the high 13's (and 14s )...my MPH was low too so I know weather conditions weren't too great...but with good conditions I should be low 13's now...the main thing I'm concerned about is my 2.0 60' times (and that 2.1!)...I was getting 2.0's on street tires, and I had to ease into the throttle...so I know better traction should get me a better 60'. I'm just hoping it's because I had my tire pressure too low and had too much rolling resisitance, and that running 20 PSI or so will get me the times I'm looking for
