First run at the dragway :D
Last night I went up to New England Dragway for street night to try it out in the 95 Z/28 A4. First run was high 16's, I've never been on it before and was just getting a feel for it. Second run was in the 14's. I ran 14's all night, the best I got was 14.254 @ 99.16mph with a reaction time of .312. So thats what I ended up running my very first night racing in my completely stock LT1 A4. My gf's dad said it was pretty good for my first night. Any tips on what I can work on next time? I really want to break 13.9

You're screwed now! Just tear it down and shoot for the 8's now. Sure you say you want 13's. But once you do that you'll want 12's, then 11's and so on. Just admit you're an addict and know that cz28 is actually a support group and everything will be O.K. Seriously, that's a pretty good baseline. I'd start with a CAI, stall, and see what gears are in it. If it's got 2.73's then with 3.42's you would need the jaws of life to pry the smile off your face, without giving up any driveability.

I don't know my 60' off the top of my head I'll post it when I get home.
But next time Ill take out a lot of dead weight. I had a lot of weight in my car last night. Spare tire, tire jack, had my club in there a lot of stuff in the trunk.
And I do have the 2.73's in it I was thinking about going 3.36's? those would be pretty wild.

Get a spare set of rims and some drag radials for the track. Your 60ft. time has plenty of room for improvement. With a little more track time you should be able to cut at least a 2.00 60ft. if not better. That will put you well into the 13s. Your car has a good mph for the time it runs.

Get yourself some MT street radials for your stock wheels. Nice tire.

Follow these guys advice and work on your launch. You would have been in the 13s likely with a 2.0x 60' time already. With stock gears and converter, I've found, and all cars are different, but I slowly brake-torque up to about 1500rpm once staged and then drop the hammer with very little tire spin with drag radials, so without them, I would think you would want to do the same as to not flash the converter off the line thus sending your rear tires into spinning, which is what slowed your 60' time down.
Regardless, without traction, you will be limited on how much better you can improve your 60', with a stock converter and gears, it will be hard enough to break into the 1.9s, even with drag radials.
