Everyone with Joe Overton camshafts, I need your input!!

I have almost decided to get Joe to spec me out one of his custom cams, but I want to hear from some of you that have his cams and tell me how much your performance increased after installing his cam over your previous one. Also I'd like to know what kind of combo you're running. Thanks.

I highly recommend Joe. He is extremely knowlegable. Be sure to talk to him and tell him exactly what your combo is and what you want from the car. My 383 picked up 23hp and 38lbs of torque over the cc306 cam. There's more to cam design than just peak hp. My 3600+lb combo easily runs mid 11's all day long. Joe O cams Joe's work day time work number is 804-598-9261

Joe Overton isnt doing cams anymore. So you might as well just change your mind and talk to someone else about getting a cam.

I know for a fact he isnt because I just talked to him the other day and people from this board are using my name as a reference and telling Joe that I recomended them to him. He didnt like that and either did I since I havent referred anyone to him for cams.

So whoever you are that has used my name for a reference to Joe inorder to get a cam, knock it off because you are never going to get a cam from him.

BTW, my Joe O cam runs awesome, and its a 1 of 1, no others like it

I stand corrected. Joe O is no longer in the custom camshaft bussiness.

I assume you talked to him personally? Maybe he decided to come out of retirement just for you Randy I'm interested to see what the cam will do for your ride.

Ya Mark, I've talked to him everyday this week trying to get everything sorted out. Joe assures me that the car will fly and I hope he's right.
It's something isn't Mark, I win a race and the first thing I want to do is change something. I probably need to have my *** kick for doing this, but I can't help it, I want the car faster and I won't be satisfied until it is. If all else fails I'll go back with the cam I ran last year, but I hope that's not the case and from the cars that have Joes' cams in them and the times there running I should be good to go.

I'll most likely be running at Fayetteville sunday. I'm going to need Bob to help me tune the car once the cam is in, so maybe we can kill two birds with one stone. Later Mark.
