Everyone with Joe Overton camshafts, I need your input!!
Man..... I totally regret my latest cam choice... And threads like this make me feel even worse!
Y'all are sooo mean!
Ah well.. I used to dyno 390/370 and run 117mph traps
. Now I'm settling for 365/345 and running some sweet 113mph traps. Ah well.. I'm just pilling up for the time being.

Well, I got to make some passes with the new Joe O cam Thursday night and I can definitely say the car has way more TQ. It didn't run as well as I had hoped, but being that it hasn't been tuned for the new cam at all and that the weather wasn't great I'll be content with a 11.78 @ 112.66 mph. I talked to Joe Friday and he really thought that there was alot left in it and that the mph was way down, but that the dyno tune should help alot. I'm going to the dyno Saturday and then to the track that night, so I'll keep everybody posted.

). I agree, the mph looks low for the ET's. Who's going to do the dyno tune?
Bryan Herter of pcmforless is going to tune it. If that doesn't put me where I think I should be I guess I'll have to make a trip to see Joe to see if he can help me work things out.

No! I mean Joe, Joe overton. He's told me that I should be trapping between 118-120 mph with my setup and since it's his cam I'm running I'm going to give him a chance to straighten things out.

Well mine is going to the track tommorow so I will have some numbers this weekend unless something comes up but it definately feels faster than 113mph on the street. It feels quicker and faster then when it ran 117mph traps a couple months ago.
