Drilling Front Struts

Pros and Cons of doing this? I seen in another post where redbird has done this. Has anyone else tried it and how did it work? Konis are BIG $$ and Im looking for a cheap thrill.

I did this when I ran Pure Stock years ago. They are fine as long as you are under power, but hell when you go to slow down. This was from about 108 mph. At the speeds that you are running you may very well kill yourself. Good shocks are the only way to go.
