different classes
different classes
What class of drag racing would be best the only thing that i would imagine would work without an all out drag car is bracket racing but can manuals be good for bracket racing. What if i decided to build an all out drag car what would be a good class to start in(also the cheapest to be somewhat competitive)
At least 90% of all drag racing is bracket racing. Even the Stock/SuperStock classes are bracket racing unless 2 cars in the same class are paired up against each other.
The cheapest class to run in is ET brackets. All the other fast classes are not cheap. Even Stock/SuperStock is not cheap. Comp Eliminator is probably one of the most expensive classes to run in.

A really fun class to run is IHRA Pure Stock. Get a rule book and check it out. If you build it right you won't spend a ton of money, you can still drive it, and you can run National events, Divisionals, and any bracket races that you want too.
And yes, sticks can be competetive too!!
Good Luck,
