Phil full of **** I wouldnt believe him for a second, that car got drug by my buddies all motor 382 LS1. That Vette was a turd and so was Phil. The motor got bigger every time I heard about it, it was a 396 more than likley, doubt it had that much gas not the way it got done in by so many cars. Rick probably remembers it and prolly drug on it a few times back in the day.

 

taner, about the 400 hit...buddy of mine here in nc has a 396 with a 150 through the throttle body and a 250-300 fogger. he leaves on the 150 and then hits the fogger...its wired up to turn the plate off when he hits the fogger but it wasnt working right one night! so i guess he was spraying between 400-450!!!

dont know how long it will last though? id hate to see how fast yours would go with that much gas on it...

well, my 9.49 was definitely starting to lean on it, i may divulge that after the thunder event this coming weekend! because I know if I am to go where I haven't boldy gone before then I want to keep it under my hat. i hope you understand. there are only a couple of things I am secretive about, 1 - Cam spec. , 2 - how much I spray on a "big" shot. but for the most part if i can help i always do.

 

I tried racing that car way back on the streets when I was a cast 383 hyp pistons with home ported LT1 heads, he never would race me. From a stop or a roll, I chased him down so many times and he gave up. I couldn't remember if I was a 6 speed or a A4 for back then but I was ready either way. I only had a 150 shot too. Back then with the 6 speed and 10 bolt the car ran 10.80's with 1.6 60's.

 

My twin turbo 383 is going on the dyno this week and we are looking to have 1400fwhp

ADC Racing Engines in Fort Collins. The guy that plumbed the turbos is in Denver and Charlie at ADC is picking up the car tonight. Cant wait.
