My friends got an 03 Cobra with exhaust and brags about it alot. Dont get me wrong its an extremely nice and fast car but he puts it above all. He didnt think I would be able to compete at all but while we were driving along i pulled up next to him and came to the stop sign. I told him 20mph roll (my tires are very very bald) we got up to speed and he waited for me to hit it so I did and he quickly followed. Took it up to about 55mph when he let off the gas a car length behind behind me the whole time. I pulled at first but at around 40 Noone was pulling or gaining it was pretty even. It was a quick little race but it convinced him that my car was right where his was for a third of the cost.
Later he said he was worried about getting a ticket so he let off. He wants to go on the highway some time, where im sure he will take me with the supercharger but I know with new tires I will surely take him on the 1/8 mile from a stop. He also complained about his tires spinning, well if he would have looked over my car was kicking the tires out pretty good when I hit it too.
I guess Ive got to get my heads done soon and put a little shot of nitrous before the summer if I want to compete though because hes already got his supercharger pulley and computer chip for it but wont put it on for a while to use up some warrenty on the car.

 

I'll take a 95Z over an 03 cobra anyday.

Sorry about the late response I havent had time to get on the computer in the last few days. The duration is 236/244 on my cam.

 

There's a dude around here with a 03 Cobra, pully, exhaust, chip and slicks, pulled a 11.90 @116
