I relocated mine where the spare tire goes and the NOS bottle is just above it. with the spare tire cover over it you can't see anything. I put mine there due to I have T-tops and keep them there most of the time.

nice setup. Mine is very similar. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow.

I used the same box but from Moroso and turned it the other way. I also made a bracket to hold a push/pull switch mounted up on the frame rail. The handle goes out right next to the Z28 emblem on the back of the car. A short ground cable to the rear frame, I ran my pos and alternator wire inside the car. I also made up some grounds for the front block to frame.

took some pics of my set up today.

First is the shut off switch from outside. I saw a guy put his this way and I really liked it. I still need a trim piece to make the hole pretty:

This is the bracket I made inside. Basically I just used the bracket that came with the switch, bolted it to a piece of angle and welded it to the car. Then I made a support to bolt to the back of the car to keep it sturdy. The switch used to be mounted behind the rear bumper cover. I opted to put it inside the car in the event of a crash it stands a much better chance of actually working.

Hard to see since most of the interior panels are back on but both the new 1guage main battery cable and the 6 guage alternator cable run thru the spare tire well up and ove the wheel well and down to the floor. Then around the base of the bar and along the rocker panel. Then thru the firswall where the factory harness also goes thru.

Here you can see how I ran it thru the engine compartment. I also wrapped the cable in loom in areas that might be subjected to rubbing.

BTW, see those clips. They are also on the cables all the way back o the switch and support the cables to keep them from rubbing. Also take note of the 2 smaller cables that run from the starter post back up to the pos distro block and from the block to the neg distro stud.

Here you can see the cables running just under the alternator towards the starter.

Starter positive connection and the jumper to go back up the the fusible link distro stud.

Finally an extra ground from the driver side engine to the frame rail.

Ground on passenger side from factory ground stud to the neg ground distro stud.
