I am going to try it next time I go to the track. My car has been 1.82 60'12.87@108mph on radials with the cutout closed N/A so I think spraying about 25-30' out with a 125 I can go 11.90's on some Kumhos. I ran it last weekend and only sprayed to the 1/8th and ran 11.67@116mph on ET streets with a 150 shot. I don't have a rollbar so the local track keeps threatning me about running 11's. I don't think they will complain too much about 11.99?

Steeper Gears work if you are going to race with slicks or a tire that is a sticky compound. Don't worry about steeper gear unless you are going to get slicks. With Steeper gear you pick up time running on slicks.

Last weekend I went 11.99 @ 115 on street tires. That is the best she has ever hooked for me. I usually run 12.1's to 12.3's on street tires.......Comp T/A's

Cam only LS1 with most bolt ons.....1.89 60'. Of course this was on a well prepped track and 50 degree weather.

She will go 11.7's on bald DR's at around 116.

Later, Stu

Only if they would have prepped more of the track might have dipped in the 11's

I kept getting pretty good launches but after the 60ft mark it would start spinning.

2.157 8.572 87.06 12.935 115.66 spinning all the way down

1.859 8.064 90.00 12.347 116.58 should of been the one, but had to turn off the n2o for a second due to spinning after the 60ft

2.046 8.329 89.92 12.612 116.92 spinning again

2.029 8.045 92.55 12.245 118.44 only if I got a 1.8

Might have to get some Nitto's pretty soon, the F-1's are not going to last much longer.

It just takes a very good power/weight ratio. You can't launch hard, so you have to make up the time at the "big end". My car runs 11's pretty easily on street tires, but the times are very inconsistent and the mph is way high compared to the ET.

What kind of 60ft/mph do you get?

Thanks

With street tires (255/16 Comp TA) my best 60's were in the low 2.0's. Some people are in the 1.9's. This improves to mid 1.5's with ET Streets, so the advantage is at least 0.5sec.
