I am trying to figure out how to install an aftermarket race type automatic shifter in my 4th gen. Anyone have any pics of a neat way to do this? Any recommendations on shifter brand (for a reverse manual TH400)?

Thanks.

Here is a pic of my Hurst pistol grip quarter stick. I had a 6-speed before so I just made the shifter boot fit over it.

B&M Pro-Ratchet, in stock M6 console.....

Install

Photo 2

The boot has "snaps" on it to hold it closed, and to allow it to be pulled up and off with the surround ring, to make the gear position indicator visible for racing.
