Another "guess my time" thread

New setup and I've never run an 1/8 mile. What would be average and what would be pretty good? I'd expect to have ~400rwhp. Also, should I shift into 4th at all with 275/45/17's and 4.11 gears? TIA

In an 1/8 mile I doubt you'll have to shift into 4th. Granted I have 3.23s, but I was just shifting into 3rd crossing the finish, shifting at ~6500.

How much power are you putting down?

It put down 333 hp and 390 tq, but was really lean (16:1) above 3500. The guy running the dyno said getting the correct a/f ratio would give me another 30-40 hp easy.

Like I said, the power is really low, but it still has almost 400 ft/lbs. I spun off the line all through 1st (street tires) as well.

Best I could manage was a 8.475 @ 88.01mph spinning all the way through first. I need to find a better track, lol.

2.185 60' - Could use some work on that, too, but I didn't want to shred the rear end.

Your MPH is good, like you said, get that 60' down and you could possibly be in the 7s

Unfortunately, somehow a valve was bent or something and it's stuck, so I won't be back anytime soon.
