Advice on hookin w/ et streets... 11.53 think it can be better

Friday night my friend and I went to the track and ran his el camino (sp?) it was the cars first time being ran on the track. we took it off the trailor and didnt change a thing. 20# tire pressure, tailgate up, aircleaner on etc. it has 3.42 gears.. 26x10 tire. burnout is about 4 secs i would guess.
here is what it ran on motor...
1.9 60'
8.2 1/8
12.8 @105 1/4

nitrous...
1.8
7.44 @ 96 1/8
11.53 @ 119 1/4

He hits the nitrous after he leaves the line when he does it spins...

shouldnt there be things to get the 60' down also?

any suggestion on making this car hook?

sorry not a fbody
