Why are my times so bad. Look in sig for list of mods!

Well that 60 ft is kinda bad, needs to be at least a 2.0 on street radials, but your problem is the car is not making any power as your 100 MPH trap speed shows, I think you may have tuning issues, check the car with a scan tool to check for knock retard under wide open throttle, did you put an LT4 knock module in the computer after the headers went on? If not that is MOST likely it. And get a 3.42 gear and a 2800 stall converter in that car and it will show you a little something.

yup, i got a lt4 knock module. I am only picking of 2* of knock according to my freescan tool. I don't know what tuning issues i could have. I just feel that the power isn't there. i know my optispark is on it way out and my water pump has a little leak. Could that cost me 2-3 mph. I thought i should be running around 104-105 mph with my mods

I would address the opti/water pump probs and see what happens. The car is not gonna run well with longtubes and a 2.73 gear. You took all of the bottom end torque away with the big header tube, that was helping that 2.73 gear move. Get a 3.42 gear and the opti issues fixed and it should go some 13.50's

Have you tried swapping out the Ported MAF? A lot of people seem to have problems with those.
And yes the 60' times really need to be lowered. Those will help the ET.

 

I had the same issue as you, only I didnt have a slow trap speed. Today was my first day at the track and I hit a 104.5mph trap speed, but my reaction time, and my 60' times blew. I had an average of a 2.4-2.7 60' time! Horrible! Greasy track! Get some gears and you'll be where you want for the trap speed. Might as well get some 3.73s and do it right the first time!

 

i have not tried swapping out the maf yet. Do you think i should get some 3.73's or just go with 3.42's?? what times should i be running with those mod's? I was thinking somewhere around a 13.5 @ 105?

Yeah your 60' is really hurting you. What kind of tires are you running?
