Adjustable Shocks for Racing/Street

What adjustable shocks do you guys use for racing (not drag shocks)? I've been looking at Illuminas, HALS, etc. I want a shock I can tune in for the strip, then change back to a street ride. Also, exactly how do they adjust for launching, what I mean is should the front end be soft for weight transfer and the back shocks stiff (or is it the other way around)? Also, can I get by using just a front pair or a rear pair of shocks?

* I use QA1 12 way adjustable on all 4 corners. I have them all set on the #4 position on the way to/from the track. When I get to the track I set the front's on #2 ( position #1 is the softest setting) and the rears on #3. My drag radials are junk and the track was not prepped last time out so I had to put the front's on # 1 and the rears on #2. You want all 4 shocks to be stiff as possible, so if my tires were good and the track was prepped with VHT.......I probably would have the fronts on #2 or #3 and the rears on #4 or #5.
