Do you have to have a 6 point to run 11.xx or does a 4 point get you through tech inspection??

 

Gotta have at least 5 points.

 

Semantic point: the term "cage" should not be used to describe the 4, 5, or 6 point roll bars that are being discussed here. A roll "cage" includes a bar along the windshield header connected to the main hoop by horizontal bars running along top of the window frames and to the frame on each side by vertical bars along the A-pillar.

4 points are for show. NHRA and IHRA require a minimum of 5pt's.
Dont have to run a passenger side door bar if you dont want,but i figure if i have to climb over 1,everyone else will.

 

The EXACT reason why I have a 6-point.

Of course, you can always spend the extra $$ and do removable swing-outs.
