Post 2 questions here

First off, I am planning to race my buddy as soon as his tranny is fixed, but that is a different story, mustang.
I had bashed my rim on a curb a while ago and have been meaning to get it replaced. it does not loose air, but it lip on it is cracked good. will I pass the tech inspection?
second, I will buy three new rims. some with good drag tires, and some for street. the rims are 16-8's. what are good tires for that rim size? nitto, bfg... and I want to drive them to the strip.

I got the firebird TO rims. the're $50 and I know they are balanced. I have been meening to get new ones for a while. I want to get three so that I do not have to drive with "good" tires all the time.
lastly, It is AZ. not to much rain here to worry about. thanks.
