11.DOH! still looking for 10's.

Went to cecil county tonight, made 3 runs,11.10@123,11.03@123,11.06@123. Talk about a fairly consistent bracket car sheesh.

Still STOCK heads/cam/intake/longblock LT1,still looking for 10's,still gonna do it with the 175 shot.

time for some "free" mods, and to hang some lightweight parts that have been in storage.

the 60's have been hovering around 1.59-1.61. the car has lost 1/10 in the 60' somewhere, gotta find that.

the 1/8 has been right around 7.04-7.09 and 98ish mph.

Thanks for the info man. I have ran a best of 7.16 in the 1/8 but only a 11.31 in the 1/4. That 1/4 mile pass was with only a 1.61 60'. I am starting to think that my untouched stock tranny is starting to slip in 3rd. Wonder if that is why the 1/8's are decent but the 1/4's are falling off. Car dynoed with 596.7 rwtq so I cannot expect for it to live to long stock.

Dirk....

That car is amazing. Kind of makes me wonder why I wasted my money on the forged bottom end and the TH400. I also wish I could see 3,550#.... last time mine was 3,750# with me (180#) in it.

Good luck... the 10's are calling

Fred, you didnt waste money,i'm living on borrowed time with the stock bottom end. You have a much more reliable setup.
My OD trans was built by who i feel is 1 of the best tranny guys in the tri state area. But i also think the steep first gear is hurting me with traction.

Fred, your car is killer, i have probably removed a LOT more stuff then you, therefore my car being the weight it is.

i'll be coming back up to Etown sometime, but i much prefer these "southern" fast tracks
